Mead, often referred to as honey wine, is simply made from the fermentation of honey and water by yeast. It can be produced in many styles; still, sparkling, dry, semi-sweet or sweet. It can be found all over the world and is mentioned in the Bible, Beowulf and even in Harry Potter.
