Late Harvest Riesling
Aromas of apricot, candied pineapple and grapefruit set over a rich sweetness and brilliant acidity.
The Riesling used to produce this limited-release dessert wine was allowed to hang on the vine for two extra months after reaching maturity, which caused a concentration of sugars and aromatic components via natural desiccation and infection by Botrytis—a common vineyard fungus sometimes known as “noble rot.” The resulting wine is intense in both flavor and aroma, and has a bit heavier mouthfeel than our other Riesling releases from the 2012 vintage.
