Dry and balanced with aromas of lemon, green apple and toasted oak over a creamy finish.
One of the six noble grape varietals, Chardonnay is one of the most widely-planted cultivars in the world. It can produce great wines using a variety of techniques, and is an excellent varietal for expressing the stylistic decisions of the winemaker. Our Chardonnay showcases a little bit of everything: partially fermented with oak and partially in stainless to preserve fresh fruit flavors, the wine underwent a secondary malolactic fermentation and was aged sur lie—in contact with the spent yeast cells from alcoholic fermentation—to add richness and the slight hint of butter that is so popular with the world’s Chardonnay drinkers.
